Description

Brass wire cloth screen is utilized in filters and strainers for the removal of foreign solids from a stream of liquid or gaseous fluid. Brass have high brass (70% copper, 30% zinc) and low brass (80% copper, 20% zinc), when compared to copper, have much better abrasion resistance, lower electrical conductivity, and better corrosion resistance. Low brass is the most widely used brass alloy. Brass wire cloth is excellent for marine and out of door applications because of its immunity to rust and salt solutions.It is an ideal mesh for fabricating gasoline filters and baskets for electro-polishing.It possesses greater strength than copper or bronze.
